With the natural sweetness and chewy texture of freeze-dried pineapple and mango, the subtle crunch of coconut flakes, and the wholesome goodness of oats, these homemade bars are a deliciously healthy snack for any time of day.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup Nature's Turn freeze-dried pineapple, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Nature's Turn freeze-dried mango, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or cashew)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the oats, freeze-dried pineapple, mango, and coconut flakes.

  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey, nut butter, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry mix and stir until everything is evenly coated.

  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan, pressing down firmly to ensure the bars will hold together.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown.

  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars. This will help them set and make them easier to slice.

  9. Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh and chewy!

  10. Enjoy as a quick breakfast on your way out the door, a satisfying mid-day snack, or a healthy treat on your next outdoor adventure.

Nature's Turn freeze-dried fruits make it easy to enjoy the lush flavors of pineapple and mango, no matter the season. Paired with the heartiness of oats and the rich sweetness of honey, these Tropical Fruit Granola Bars offer the perfect combination of taste and nutrition.
